Grandma and Grandpa Romney

So Grandma and Grandpa didn't email me anything for the newsletter....and thats ok because I will just add something for them because the newsletter is REALLY late this month. So they went to Denver for the Baby blessing and had a great time!! They also came to Florida to visit us for Easter!!! We were really excited for them to visit!! Thanks again for such a geat time!!!

The Idaho Romney's

Early in March we took the 4 older kids skiing. The mountains got a lot of snow in the end of February and early March making for some awesome spring skiing. Corbin and Anna can hold their own on skis, getting on and off the lift by themselves. The twins still need help on the lift but do well on the slopes. We all had a fun time and the snow was great!

Soccer season started up as well this month. Corbin, Andrew and Becca are all playing on different teams. I am coaching Corbin and Becca’s teams. So far they are all playing good and having fun.

The highlight of our month was a trip to the Bahamas. Jeni and I got to get away and take a cruise to Coco Cay and Nassau. We had a great time. The weather and ocean and beaches were beautiful. We were able to spend time on the beach in the sun, snorkel, jet ski and we even went to church at a local branch on Nassau. It was nice to get away for a few days together. The kids all stayed with Jeni’s parents in Burley.

I hope you all are doing well and are getting ready for the summer. We are ready for warmer weather!

Love,

Kenny, Jeni, Corbin, Anna, Andrew, Becca and Daniel

The St. George Romney's

Not much happened for us in March. Summer's sister and brother-in-law, Whitney and Cameron came to visit for a few days. Dallin taught them all of his sword-fighting tricks. (Sometimes he thinks he is Jack Sparrow.) Reed had the Seminary Council over for a barbeque (he is the advisor over student council this year and will be for next school year too.) Dallin loved having 10 or so teenagers (big kids, as he calls them) all over his house and playing in his backyard! It was really fun and they are such great kids. Avery is sitting up and both bottom teeth have broken through. (Fun for us!) Actually, she has been really good about the whole thing and has hardly fussed a bit. She is such a sweet, easy-going baby. Her mom loves that! Well, it's official. Life at the Reed Romney house is complete. Reed brought home Star Wars from the library and a whole new world of light sabers and Storm Troopers has opened up to Dallin's life. So now when he's not Indiana Jones, Samuel the Lamanite or Jack Sparrow then he's Luke Skywalker. It's quite fun for all!

The Florida Steele's

Hello everyone....we have had a busy month. We went up to PA to check out Penn State University. It was fun to go and check out the school....we decided to put a deposit down to hold a spot until we hear back from all the schools that we applied to....for a more detailed version of this story go to our fmily blog....dtbsteele.blogspot.com. Mom and Dad came to visit us for Easter and it was really fun. We did an Easter egg hunt with Benjamin...which he loved...but he didn't like "breaking" his eggs for the treats inside....but he wanted the treats really bad...but not bad enough to "break" the egg for them. We are just hanging in there until we finally decide where we are going to Law school...other than that nothing is really happening here in fl. So love you all and hope to see you all at Michaels wedding....(if I can get a good deal on a ticket)

The Denver Nelson's

We had another fun and busy month this month.

Both sets of grandparents were here for the blessing of Katherine. The weekend was prefaced by a huge snowstorm just prior to them coming of course! But the weather cleared and everyone made it in safetly. We all met for lunch at On the Border and then G&G Romney, the kids, and myself went bowling. The Nelson boys stayed at home and hung some new light fixtures in the dining room and front room. They also built some shelves in the garage, laundry room, and hall closet. It is great, I love it.

Joseph slept over that night at the hotel with G&G Romney and played a lot of Chinese Cheakers beating Grandma regularly I am sure. We met up with them and took the older kids to Funtastic Fun which is an indoor amusement park. We had some Funtastic Fun and Funtastic Fun. The outing was ended at Jim and Nick's a great BBQ place by us, yummy food. I always get the brisket sandwich. Next time anyone comes to visit we will take you there.

Mom and I went shopping after sending Grandpa and the kids home. My good friend Elizabeth works at Eddie Bauer and we went shopping there while she was working. She is a great salesperson and Mom treated me to some new jeans and some cute shirts that Elizabeth picked out for me. Thanks again Mom!

The girls slept over that next night at the hotel and played a lot of Candyland and watched Cinderella. They had a great time.

Sunday was really nice and the blessing went really well. Mike did great and Katherine looked beautiful. It was fun to have everyone here for the weekend.

Joseph is off track right now, so we are running on a different shedule, but keeping busy as always.

We love you all.
