Hello everyone,
Grandma and Grandpa Romney
We can't beleive it is already Christmas time. Thanksgiving is over and now we are going to be decorating and getting ready for the Christmas season. We are so excited.
We had a great Thanksgiving with Kenny and Jeni. They came, as you know the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We had a birthday party for Anna and made her dinner she requested which was chicken codon bleu, 7 layer salad, green beans and twice baked potato. We opened presents and then had an ice cream cake for desert. They all then went to Disneyland and had a wonderful time. I'm sure they are going to tell you all about it.
They left Sunday afternoon and came back Thursday afternoon just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. We had some other people over as well. What a great day it was and lots to be thankful for. The one couple we had over brought their Wii game. They offered to leave it here for the kids to play it while they were still here. They had a gread time playing it. My favorite game was the cow racing game. It is so much fun to play.
On Friday a friend of ours, Ed Demille, came over and brought some of his guns and talked with the kids about the guns and gun safety. Then Kenny, Norm, Corbin and Ed went out shooting. One of the rifles that Corbin shot knocked him right on his bottom. They all said they had a great time. I'm sure Kenny will tell you more details. THe rest of us went to Bass Pro SHop and had a great time. They had a whole section there that was set up for kids. Santa was there. We got a picture with him and then played a lot of different games and activities. We then went and saw the fish at the acquarium. We then had the Elders over for dinner and after that went to see the Christmas lights as the Ethel M Chocolate factory cactus garden and then went in and saw the Chocolate factory and saw and read how they make chocolate. It was a great day.
On Saturday we went hiking out at Red Rock. It was a beautiful day. What a fun hiking trail we chose. It was about 2 miles total. What a great day.
Have a great December and know how much we love you and you are always in our thoughts and prayers.

his past month has flown by. We can’t believe it is already December and that Christmas is right around the corner. Anna turned 9 this month and had a birthday party with a couple of her friends and they go to go horseback riding.
Another highlight of the month was our trip to Disneyland and Mom and Dad’s house for Thanksgiving. We all had a great time at Disneyland. It was everyone’s first trip except for Jeni who had not been since she was a teenager. Disneyland was amazing. We rode on a bunch of rides and watched the shows and parades.
Daniels favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear astro blasters, Becca’s, Kenny’s, Jeni’s and Corbin’s favorite ride was space mountain, Anna’s favorite ride was California Screamin, Andrew’s favorite ride was Soarin over California. Everyone’s least favorite ride except for Anna and Dad was Tower of Terror. Daniel and Andrew both came off the ride balling. We felt like bad parents for taking them on it J. But there were so many other fun rides and things to do that it is hard to list them all hear.
Andrew and Becca both got picked in the Jeni training academy and got to fight the real Darth Vader!
We got to meet many different characters including Mickey and Mini Mouse, the incredibles, Goofy, Alice and the Mad Hatter, and others. We saw Mary Poppins and Bert Dancing in the street too.
Paula recommended to us the book The unofficial guide to Disneyland, this book made the trip 10 times better helping us plan out our days to stand in the least amount of lines as possible. I would highly recommend it if any of you are planning on going, good call Paula!
Thanksgiving at Mom’s was delicious. There was more food then you could eat. They had over some friends of theirs as well so we had a total of 13 people at the house for Thanksgiving. The day after Corbin, and I and Grandpa went shooting with one of Grandpa’s friends. We shot up some pop cans and water bottles and skeet. It was a blast. Saturday we all went hiking at Red Rock canyon. We took a short dirt road to the trailhead, I think it was the first time the Santa Fe had been off road J.
I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving and hope you all have a wonder Christmas Holiday as well.
Love,
Kenny, Jeni, Corbin, Anna, Andrew, Becca, and Daniel
