You can just come to the website and enjoy....I will update it once a month. So you will still email me your summaries and pictures every month and I will BLOG them. The really cool thing about the blog is that you can put videos on it....so USE YOUR WEBCAMS or VIDEO CAMERAS and we all can watch it!!! So I hope that you all enjoy the Blog.

Recipe of the Month

Berry Yogurt Crunch

• 3 cups plain low-fat yogurt
• 1 (1.5 ounce) envelope instant sugar-free vanilla pudding mix
• 2 cups blueberries, raspberries and sliced strawberries, mixed
• 3/4 cup wheat and barley nugget cereal (e.g. Grape-Nuts™)
• 1 cup blueberries, raspberries and sliced strawberries, mixed
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 cup sweetened whipped cream for garnish (optional)

Combine the yogurt and pudding mix in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in 2 cups of the mixed berries and the cereal until blended. Pour the yogurt and berry mixture into a 9 inch pie plate. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate 2 hours.
Meanwhile, place the remaining 1 cup of berries in a medium bowl and slightly mash with a fork. Stir in the sugar and lemon juice. Set mixture aside at room temperature.
Spoon chilled berry-yogurt mixture into serving dishes. Top with a spoonful of mashed berries, and whipped cream, if desired.

Grandma and Grandpa Romney

Where did June go? We have been so busy this month and we did not even travel anywhere. All we have done this month is work and attend the temple and church. We are looking forward to the family reunion that will be here in 3 weeks. We are so excited.
Thank you for all your love, phone calls and gifts on Father's Day. We want to thank Kenny, Reed, Mike, and Dave for being such great dads and wonderful examples of righteous priesthood holders. Dad was very blessed this last week with a big contract sale with the Government in Oklahoma. The Lord is truly blessing him with success. All we have has come from our Heavenly Father and I thank Him everyday.
Dad is traveling on Monday, June 30 to New York City and will be back on Wednesday. We will then have Dallin while Reed and Summer are in Mexico with Summer's family. We will drive up to Salt Lake for the 4th of July and come back on Sunday. We'll let you know all about that after and we will send pictures. I'm so thankful for the gospel. What a blessing it is in my life. The scriptures and prayer are such a wonderful way for me to gain the knowledge I need to return to my Heavenly Father. Our challenge to Corbin, Anna, Andrew, Becca, Daniel, Joseph, Rachael, Juliana, Dallin and Benjamin is to listen to your parents and pray about what they are teaching you. The Holy Ghost will help you know of the truth. Have a great 4th of July. Please remember to thank Heavenly Father for all the freedoms you enjoy and the sacrifice of all those who made it possible for us to have what we have today.

Kenny and Jeni Romney

Where did June go? We can't believe it is over already!!! After school and t-ball ended we have had a great summer. We have been going to swimming lessons every day. In order to get there we park about a mile away and then ride our scooters down the green belt to the pool. (Jeni roller blades with Daniel in the stroller to keep up with the other 4) The weather here has been beautiful and the kids and Jeni have really enjoyed this!
We spent one weekend this month camping at Burneau Sand Dunes. It has the tallest Sand Dune in North America there. Kenny took Corbin and some of his cousins and hiked to the top! They also have an observatory there where they have huge telescopes. It is always neat to go look through the telescopes and see the rings around Saturn and some other planets and stars up close. Our Father in Heaven truly did create this beautiful earth and all things!
We also had the annual Pine Wood Derby for the cub scouts this month. Kenny and Corbin built a "Corvette" complete with lights and driver. The Corvette did a great job taking 3rd place overall. Great job Corbin. Anna has still been sick off and on with tonsillitis and strep throat. She is getting her tonsils out on July 7th. She is excited to have "all the popsicles and ice cream she can eat" (at least that is what everyone has been telling her). We are excited to see everyone for the reunion in a few weeks

We had another busy month. Joseph is done with school for the summer break. He had a great last couple of weeks. They were filled with lots of field trips and an animal presentation. He and dad were able to go to the Children's Museum downtown. They rode on a long bus ride, better Mike than I did! They had a great time. He was also able to go to the Aurora Lake with the school. They did not stay long because it was cool and raining. Then we spent the afternoon at the park. I am not sure why they have school that week. Good times had by all. The last day he gave his presentation about salt water crocodiles. It was a power point presentation, impressive for a 2nd grader. I am sure he had a lot of help. He did great of course. Piano lessons are off for the month of July and he will start them up again in August with the new school year. Baseball is continuing to go really well. He is a great player and loves the game. He had a great game last week and got two hits and on base once. The girls are continuing ballet class and love it. Mike was off of work all last week and we enjoyed the time with him at home. He was able to buy his belated father's day gift which was a new desk and chair. He bought one of the ready to assemble ones it took him all of Friday to put it together. It is done though and it looks great. The new chair is comfortable and the kids love to twist in it when Mike is not looking. We also went downtown and toured the capital building to pass off one of Joseph's requirements for cubs. We took light rail down there and then got on the free bus that goes up and down the 16th Street Mall which is a huge outdoor mall in the heart of downtown. We got on the bus and then a man asked where we were from. I am sure he thought we were tourists. I said we were from Denver and have lived here for 9 years. We all got a good laugh. The capital was fun, but no air-conditioning in the building. By the time we got to the 4th floor I thought I was going to pass out from heat. Good thing I do not work there! I also got a new calling on Sunday. I am now the 2nd counselor in the Primary Presidency. The kids love the change because they see me all the time. I have done it before so it will be a nice review! We love you all and miss you lots!

Reed and Summer Romney

This month was a crazy month! We had lots of visitors. First, baby sister is doing just fine. We have an ultrasound every month and so far the baby is measuring normal growth which is very good news. Dallin’s latest discover is that “when baby sister comes out we have to get down the black bag.” (The ‘black bag’ is in our garage on a shelf that has the baby car seat in it. For some reason he is so concerned about that and says it every time we get in the car!). Dallin’s big news this month is that he is going to the bathroom on the pottie! He is actually getting it quite quickly. He just went three days in a row and earned a bowling trip. That is all he talked about for two days was going bowling. It was so cute! Glen and Ariel came to visit for a week and we had a great time with them. We of course went to see Indiana Jones (which was the whole reason for the trip). We also went and hiked Zion’s National Park. I had never hiked through it before and it was beautiful! Dallin really liked Glen and Ariel’s visit because of all they taught him. Glen successfully taught him the name of each golf club in his set (the driver, iron, putter), how to play ‘horse’ with basketball. We still play horse together and Dallin really has no clue how to play he just knows that he or I earn the letters h-o-r-s-e throughout the game, so he will randomly say, ‘daddy has h-o, Dallin has h-o-r.’ It is funny! By the time Glen and Ariel left Dallin also knew how to sing the Indiana Jones theme song! Other visitors we have had this month have been Diane, Barry, and Jonathan. Jonathan and I went to see Kung Fu Panda while he was down here which is a fun movie. Rob Hale also came to visit and stayed with us overnight. Our next big adventure is to cross the border. We are leaving for Mexico tomorrow and will be gone a half a week down there with Summer’s family, and then the reunion! I can’t believe that it is actually here. Summer has done such a good job organizing it and getting things ready, we are both very excited to have everyone down here. See you soon. Love the St. George Romney’s

Tiffany and David Steele

Well Hello everyone!!! We are so excited to see everyone….its only 3 or so weeks away!!! Benjamin is so excited to see all of his cousins…..Benjamin is running and talking now…so he will try his hardest to keep up with the big kids. He stared talking big!!!! The words that he has started to say are “Turtle and Golf Ball.” He has also just figured out how to go down the stairs by himself!!! He never liked going down backwards on his tummy…(I tried teaching him!) So this week he sits on the stair and scoots down on his bum. He is very proud of himself. This week Benjamin and I went to the Zoo…..Dave had to work! We saw some cool animals!!! I think that I enjoyed the Zoo more than the kids did. There is also a splash park at the Zoo and Benjamin LOVES it. He runs around and climbs on all the animals. So crazy story for the month…..the other week there was a really bad thunder storm….I don’t like storms anyway….so Benjamin and I were just sitting and hanging out when the storm arrived. It was right over our head; the thunder was so loud it was shaking the apartment. Then the lighting came….It hit a tree 30 FEET from the apartment……I watching it happen!!! It was very scary…..and defiantly to close for comfort. Dave is working hard and doing great! Our lives aren’t that exciting…..Dave work from 10am to 9pm Monday – Friday and Saturday 9 am to 4pm…..then Saturdays we always go out for dinner and then a fun activity. Well talk to you all soon and see you all SOONER!!!!
