The Steele's
Hello Everyone....sorry that the newslette is late again. We have been really busy and stressed about law school and other things....the newsletter is sometimes the last thing that I think about. But we are doing well. We have less tan 90 days until we move to go to law school somewhere.....So I have started to organise and pack stuff that we are going to put in storage. Benjamin is growing and getting big. Dave is just working.....Thats about it for or family. Love you all.

Hi Family, For those who haven't heard, Corbin wrecked on his bike on Saturday night. Attached is an x-ray of his "new" elbow. He broke his left arm just above the elbow, misplacing the elbow joint. After a trip to the ER, surgery and 4 pins later, he is doing much better. He had to stay in the hospital overnight, but he is home and doing fine now. (According to Corbin) The bad news: no more soccer this season, the good news: no piano recital Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Love,Kenny and Jeni

Dear Family, Wow, it's May already. We sure had a great mont of April. We were able to start the month off with the blessing of little Katherine Diane. She looks just like Paula. We had a great time with Joseph, Rachel and Juliana. We went bowling, and to Funtastik Fun. They are such fun kids to do things with. After that, Paula and I went shopping. We had a great time. Our next adventure was our trip back to Jacksonville to see Tiff and Dave and Benjamin. We went to St Augustine. That was a really fun place to see. We had fun playing games, playing with Benjamin and going for walks. It will be good when Dave hears what law school he is going to. We then celebrated out 26th anniversary. We went out to dinner. We are going to go to San Diego this month for the official celebration. We were able to watch Dallin and Avery the last weekend of April. It was so fun. Avery wasn't so sure of Grandma at first. She was a little frightened of me and our house at first. By the end of the day, she was a little more used to me and our house. What a cute little girl. Dallin would stand at the top of my stairs with his hads held high crying "Repent, Repent". He would thenk tell grandma to try to throw arrows at him. Of course the arrows could not hurt him because he was Samuel the Lamenite. Have a great month. We sure love you and all you are doing. We are praying for a qucik recovery for Corbin. Love, mom, grandma

The Nelson's
Baseball, Field Trip, and Ballet is what has filled our month.
We have been doing Spring baseball with Joseph. Due to some really bad weather, he has two weeks worth of double headers, that means 4 hours each Saturday of baseball games. Mike is the assistant coach and loves it. He mans 2nd or 3rd base. Last weekend, he was the head coach for the game because the normal coach was out of town. He did a great job I am sure. Joseph is doing well at the games and in practice. He is a little frustrated about not hitting the ball, but I think that part of the challenge is that it is player pitch and a lot of the times the ball does not make it across the plate to hit it. He has been walked several times already. His nickanme given by the coach is Little Tiger.
Last week, Joseph and I went on a field trip with his class downtown. We did a walking tour of historic LODO which is lower downtown. It used to be a wearhouse dictirct very near a large train depot. The buildings are all original but are now offices and apartmets. The tour started at Union Station which is the old train depot and then went from there to Coors Field where the Rockies play. We walked past many expensive steak places and other bars and taverns which were all closed because it was ten in the morning. The tour ended at a plaza near the main bus terminal where the three classes met up. Then there were 60 3rd graders running around like wild Indians. We then all got on the free bus mall ride (which I am sure the bus driver loved us getting on) and rode the bus back to Union Station. It was an adventure!
The girls are still loving ballet and look forward to it every week.
Hope everyone has a great month.
