The Denver Nelson's
Joseph had a great time at his Valentine's Party at school. I made some cookies that he brought to school and I did not see any come home, so I assume that they were eaten and enjoyed by all. The girl's "party" was filling out Dora Valentine's and then delivering them to their friends with some home made cookies. They loved it and had a great time handing them out. Mike and I did a date night in. I treated him to a great dinner of take out at Outback they had a Valentine's deal we got two of everything for dinner it was prime rib and very good. We then relived our glory days in the 80's and watched Back to the Future on demand. It was a fun night.
Joseph completed the first round of his CSAPS this week, he said it went well and they had a pizza party as a celebration today. I think that they have a lot of parties more than I ever had. Oh well, he said it was fun and he said the Domino's man came straight to the classroom to deliver the pizza, so exciting!
I bought the new tap shoes for the girls and they are starting thier new class this Thrusday and they are so excited, they cannot wait. I have been listening to the clicking of tap shoes all day around the house. I told them they just cannot wear them outside. They did not seem to mind that rule. Tutus and tap shoes that is what they have been wearing all day.
Katherine is doing really well. I have switched her out of all the primie sizes into the 0-3 months sizes. They are still a bit big, but the other sizes are too small. We are planning to bless her on March 29th, if anyone wants to come. We will understand if you cannot, but we should sure love to have you all. You know you are all invitied.
We love you all!
The Idaho Romney's
Our family’s highlight for February were two Birthdays. Corbin turned 10 and Daniel 3. Mom and Dad came up for the weekend to help us celebrate their birthdays. We had a great time with them. On Saturday we went to a fun land place called Wahooz. It has video games, air hockey, and laser tag. Mom and Dad, Kenny, Corbin and Anna all played laser tag. It was a lot of fun. Mom got to play Dad in air hockey, but I don’t remember who won you will have to ask them. I am sure they remember. All the kids got a bunch of tickets that they could turn in for junk toys. That night we had a party for Daniel and he got to open presents and have cake. For Corbin’s birthday Jeni did a big party with about 12 of his friends. They had a game night here at the house. They split into teams and played games for fake money that they could turn in for prizes. They had ice cream sundaes and not cake, since that is what Corbin wanted. Jeni has been the secretary in the Relief Society presidency. They just released their presidency and she now has a new calling back in the nursery. Soccer season is coming up and I will be coaching both Corbin and Becca’s teams. That should be a lot of fun.
I hope you all have a good month!
Love, Kenny, Jeni, Corbin, Anna, Andrew, Becca, Daniel
The St. George Romney's
We can’t believe February has already come and gone. Dallin has had fun writing his uncle Logan (Summer’s brother) who is in the MTC. Well, more drawing pictures is what it has been. Because he has enjoyed mailing letters so much, he now uses the drawer in one of our end tables as his “mailbox.” We’ll hear quite often, “Mommy, I’m going to mail you this ball.” Or “Daddy, I mailed you my Indiana Jones whip.” Sometimes when we can’t find something it often turns up in Dallin’s mailbox. Avery will be 6 months old soon. It has gone too fast! She is rolling over and starting to sit up on her own. She loves watching her brother run and dance and do “Indiana Jones rolls” all around her. Sometimes when Avery is in her walker Dallin will hold on to the back of it and gets dragged while dad slides it across the floor. Dallin thinks it is like when Indiana Jones gets pulled by the truck (we have included a picture of it for your enjoyment!). Dallin is a great big brother. When Avery cries he covers his ears with his hands. The pictures we’ve attached are from a day we went hiking in the red rocks by where we had the family pictures for the reunion. It was very fun! Dallin had lots of fun “shooting bad guys” with his pretend gun. Have a great month of March!
The Steele's from Florida
Benjamin turned 2 this last month!!! Its crazy to think that we have a 2 year old. We had fun with Dave's Parents....they came to stay with us for the weekend and spoiled Benjamin rotten....I guess that is the Benefit of the only Grandkid on the Steele side. Well besides Benjamin Birthday....here are some other things that have happened this month......I am no longer a blond....I got my hair colored to match my natural color....so now I have brown hair....and for those that are wondering Dave kept his hair color the same!!! So the next item of business is that we are welcoming the newest member to our family this afternoon......her name is Nikki.....she is a NIKON D60 CAMERA!!!! So in short I am going to become a photographer!!! Starting out as an amateur then slowly moving up the ranks to a semi-pro (part-time professional photographer) and then a Professional Photographer (full-time). I will be taking classes here and there until I can go back to school full time.....photography is something that I can start now with out any "OFFICIAL" schooling. An update with Law School....nothing really we are still waiting to hear back from 13 schools to be able to make our final decision...but as of right now we are leaning toward PENN STATE...unless a better offer comes along. But we will keep everyone posted. Hope you have a great month of March and remeber to wear green on St. Patricks Day!!! Love you all!!!

Spirital Thought
To All my Childred and their Spouses:
Please read the article in the February
ensign on page 53 - "The Blessing of the
Blackberry Bush. It can really help you
in raising the precious Grand Children
that you have been blessed with.
"The Saints should always remember that
God sees not as man sees; that he does not
willingly afflict his children, and that if he
requires them to endure present privation and
trial, it is that they may escape greater
tribulations which would otherwise inevitably
overtake them. If He deprives them of any
present blessing, it is that he may bestow
upon them greater and more glorious one
by-and-by." - Elder George Q. Cannon
What a great thought and reminder about the
trial that we face.
I love you all! - Gramps - Dad
